The ball is a tough leather-based-seamed spheroid, using a circumference of nine inches (23 cm). The ball contains a "seam": six rows of stitches attaching the leather-based shell from the ball to the string and cork interior. The seam on a whole new ball is prominent and assists the bowler propel it inside of a considerably less predictable way.
